Input for digital source devices with co axial digital output.
At these inputs the DAC 8 DSD accepts digital stereo signals
conforming to the S/P-DIF norm, with sampling rates of 32 to 192
kHz.
Input for digital source devices with co axial digital BNC output.
At this input the DAC 8 DSD accepts digital stereo signals
conforming to the S/P-DIF norm, with sampling rates of 32 to 192
kHz.
Input for digital source devices with optical digital TOSLINK output.
At this input the DAC 8 DSD accepts digital stereo signals
conforming to the S/P-DIF norm, with sampling rates of 32 to 96
kHz.
Input for digital source devices with symmetrical XLR digital output.
At these inputs the DAC 8 DSD accepts digital stereo signals
conforming to the AES/EBU norm, with sampling rates of 32 to 192
kHz.
Socket for connecting a PC or MAC computer.
At this input the DAC 8 DSD accepts digital PCM stereo signals with
sampling rates in the range 44.1 to 384 kHz, and digital DSD stereo
signals from 2,8 /3,1 MHz (DSD64) to 22,6 / 24,6 MHz (DSD512)*
* 11,2 / 12,3 MHz (DSD256) and 22,6 / 24,6 MHz (DSD512) only
with a Windows PC.
If you wish the DAC 8 DSD to convert audio files from a Windows
PC connected to it, you must first install the appropriate drivers on
the computer. No drivers are required if you are using a MAC
computer (see the chapter "USB operation").
