Intended use

The product is to be used as fan in indoor locations. The fan speed
and thus the amount of air moved can be set in several stages. Fur-
thermore, the air distribution can be changed with a motor-controlled
fan grid.
The product can be operated either directly at the table fan or an IR
remote control included in the delivery.
The table fan must be connected to an isolated ground socket
(220 - 240 V/AC, 50 Hz).
The product may be installed and used only in dry, enclosed conditions
indoors.
Always observe the safety instructions included in these operating in-
structions. Read the operating manual carefully; keep it in a safe place
or pass it on to others using the table fan.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this
product and involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product may be modified or converted!

Damages due to failure to follow these operating instructions will
void the warranty! We do not assume any liability for any result-
ing damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage
caused by improper use or non-compliance with the safety in-
structions. In such cases, the warranty will be null and void.
a) General
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product
is not permitted for safety and approval reasons (CE). Do not
open/disassemble! Contains no customer-serviceable parts.
Maintenance, adjustment or repair work may only be carried out
by an expert/authorised service centre, which is familiar with the
hazards involved and the relevant regulations.
• The table fan is designed according to protection class I. It must
only be connected to and operated at an isolated ground mains
socket 220 - 240 V/AC, 50 Hz).
Before connection to the mains, make sure that the connection
values at the type sign of the product conform with the values of
your domestic power grid.
• The mains socket used for the connection of the table fan must
be located in direct proximity to the product and be easily acces-
sible. Alternatively, it must be possible to disconnect all poles
from the mains voltage via a cut-off device (e.g., an RCD).
• This product is not intended for use by persons (including chil-
dren) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, limited
experience and/or limited knowledge unless they are supervised
and instructed in the use of this product by a person responsible
for their safety.
• To protect children from the danger posed by an electronic
device, you must ensure that the device is never unattended.
Therefore, you need to select a storage location for the device
that cannot be reached by children. Ensure that the cable does
not hang down.
• Do not leave the packaging material unattended since this may
become a dangerous plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts,
blows, or accidental falls, even from a low height.
b) Installation location
• Only place the product on a level, stable and sufficiently large
surface.
• Never place and use the product directly next to a heat source.
• The product may be used in dry, enclosed indoor areas only; it
must not get damp or wet! Never set up the product in the direct
vicinity of a bathroom, shower, bathtub or similar. There is a risk
of a life-threatening electric shock!
• Do not operate the table fan in the vicinity of an opened window
to prevent a short-circuit caused by dripping or rain water.
• The product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of
children. Position the product so it is out of the reach of children.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the product.
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, di-
rect sunlight or strong vibrations.
• The power cable must not be pinched or damaged by contact
with sharp edges. Do not place any objects on the cable, and do
not allow it to become kinked. Protect the mains cable from heat
or cold.
Install the cable where no one can stumble over it and the plug is
easily accessible. Do not install the mains cable under carpets or
the like.
• Do not operate the device in environments where there are high
levels of dust, flammable gases, vapours or solvents. There is a
danger of fire and explosion!
