Trasparency and naturalness
The amplification stage is obtained with a double
triode in a balanced configuration, the output buffer
is made with very low noise solid-state components.
For maximum performance, each power supply is
obtained by means of stabilized power supplies in a
separate compartment.
Precision at the highest level
The large aluminum knob allows you to adjust the
volume with maximum precision.
The circuit has been made using a Burr-Brown 2310
precision integrated component. This allowed us to
implement a volume control that can also be adjusted
by remote control, which makes a rapid progression in
the first steps and then follows a natural logarithmic
progression in steps of 0.5dB. Therefore the volume
control in 100 steps is versatile and adaptive.
The new InControl Mk2 is also controlled by remote
control: we have chosen the new universal remote
control that allows managing all our amplifiers
equipped with remote control, including the new
Converto Mk2 RR.
Headphones
We have implemented the same headphone amp that we
used for our latest generation amplifiers. Its dedicated
circuit delivers 2W@32Ohm and allows you to drive
all the headphones on the market.
Flexibility
The InControl MkII unit provides superior flexibility
by adopting both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA
inputs and outputs.
The optional HiDac Mk2 adds 4 digital inputs.
In addition to first-class sonic performance, design
choices, components and attention to assembly ensure
extremely high reliability.
