11.2 (MAX Gain / Headphones GAIN)
Whole system Gain or Headphones Output Gain
setting
This function changes if the headphones are connected
or not:
- if the headphones are NOT connected, the display
will show "MAX Gain", which refers to the whole
system gain setting;
- if the headphones are connected, display will show
"Headphones Gain", which refers to the headphones
gain setting.
Setting the gain allows to better set up the source with
the power amp and the loudspeakers, or the source
with the headphones features.
The volume is made up of 100 steps and the very first
steps (from 1 to 20) vary of 1-2dB, while from 20 to
100 there is a 0,5dB variation.
Therefore, we recommend setting the Gain to get a
standard listening level included from 20 to 80 steps
(with a 0,5dB variation) and have a more precise
setting available.
By pressing button 2 or 3 of the remote repeatedly you
can raise (button 2) or lower (button 3) Gain level
from +0dB up to +12dB.
