12.4 Windows OS configuration
Open "Control Panel" and select "Hardware and
Sounds". Under "Audio", please click on "Manage
Audio Devices".
The following window will show and list XMOS USB
Audio. Set "XMOS USB Audio" as default device,
then confirm by clicking "OK".
From the "Start" Menu, go to "XMOS", then select
"USB Audio 2.0 Stereo Driver" and click on "XMOS
USB Audio 2.0 ST Control Panel". A window will
open; then please proceed and check if under "USB
Audio Device", "hiFace TWO UAC2 Output" is
recognized.
12.5 MacOS configuration
Go to "System Preferences" and select "Sounds". The
following windows will appear. Then select "hiFace
TWO UAC2 Output".
In order to enable DSD format music transmission
by a USB cable, from "Preferences" of playback
software (i.e. Audirvana), at the section "Native DSD
Capability" please set "DSD over PCM standard 1.0"
and keep the volume of playback software to maximum,
in order to allow DSD streaming transmission.
