CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for
cleaning.
• Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents.
Cleaning
• Use a damp cloth to clean the housing.
• Cleaning the dust container and filters is explained in detail
in chapter "Filter System and Empty/Clean Filters".
Storage
• Bring the handle into the upright position.
• Completely rewind the cable.
• Turn cap 14 clockwise to fold in the handle again (see Fig.
B).
Troubleshooting
Weak Suction Power
• Even if the MAX level on the dust container has not yet
been reached, the suction power of your vacuum cleaner
may drop. Clean the filters as described in chapter "Filter
System and Empty/Clean Filters".
• The filters may also need to be cleaned depending on the
operating conditions, e.g. vacuuming fine dust.
• A sudden failure of the motor during use also points to
blocked filters.
• Possible cause: The motor's thermal cut-out has kicked in.
Turn the appliance off and let it cool down for approx.
20 minutes. In the meantime, clean the filters.
CAUTION:
Only operate the appliance with dry filters.
Foreign Objects
Foreign objects are easily removed from the suction system.
It is designed so that larger, heavier objects collect at the
service cover.
• Open the service cover 15.
• Remove the foreign object and close the service cover
again.
