Adjustment Procedures
1. Electrical Adjustment
Test equipment:
DC Voltmeter, Frequency Counter, Test Generator, AF Voltmeter, Sweep Generator, Oscilloscope, Stereo Coder, Test Cassette 448A (Part-No.

6400 RDS: Only Adjustments 1... 13.
1. MW Oscillator
MW;
Adjust alternating with C 628) at 1605kHz
for 8.0V + 50mV
Connect DC Voltmeter to MP 2.
and with L 608 (2) at 528kHz for 1.2V + 50mvV.
2. LW Oscillator
LW; Frequency 150kHz.
Adjust with L 609 G) for 1.0V +50mvV.
Connect DC Voltmeter to MP 2.
3. MW Band Pass
Connect Test Generator to Aerial Input;
Adjust alternating with C 609 (6) at 1548kHz and with

Connect AF Voltmeter to Loudspeaker Output.

11.FM Fieldstrength
Modulate left channel and set R 204 GJ) for maximum

Now modulate right channel and check crosstalk attenua-
tion at the left channel.
if the difference is more than 3dB, set the attenuations
to best fit with R 204.
Connect Test Generator with Stereo Coder to Aerial input;
Frequency: 93.0MHz; E*= 3mV (70dBLV); fgg: 1KHz; Dev.
22.5kHz; Pilot-Dev. 7.5kHz; SK-Dev.:3.5kHz; BK: m = 0.6;
Balance and Fader to center position. AF output level 0dB
in the 300mV range.
Connect AF Voltmeter to Loudspeaker Outputs.
12. Stereo Crosstalk
Attenuation
Modulate left channel and adjust with R 210) for -20dB
+ 3dB at the right channel.
Connect Test Generator with Stereo Coder to Aerial Input;
Frequency: 93.0MHz; E'= 200uV (46dBuV); £4: 1kHz;
Dev. 22.5kHz; Pilot-Dev. 7.5kHz; SK-Dev.: 3.5kHz; BK:
m = 0.6; Balance and Fader to center position. AF output
level OdB in the 300mV range.
Connect AF Voltmeter to Loudspeaker Outputs.
13 Mono-Stereo
Transition
Adjust with R 1201 (N) (left channel) and R 1202@D (right
channel) to 830mvV.
Play 315Hz/250pWb/mm part. of Test Cassette 448A.
Connect AF Voltmeter to MP 7 (left channel) and MP 8
(right channel).
