Use

WARNINGS!
■ Beware of burns! When opening the device, keep a suffi cient distance away to pre-
vent burns caused by heat or hot steam.
■ Beware of burns! Do not place any metal objects on or in the device. They may
become very hot.
■ Use only a wooden or plastic utensil to remove the food. Metal objects may scratch
the surface of the grill plate.
■ Clean the device thoroughly after each use to prevent germ formation (see "Cleaning
and Storage"). Keep the device clean.
■ Never use the device without the drip tray. Make sure that it is inserted correctly (see
"Assembly") before you start operating the device.
Line the drip tray (4) with aluminium foil before use to make subsequent cleaning
easier.
1. Assemble the device. Follow the instructions in "Assembly" to do this.
2. Place the device on a dry, solid, fl at and heat-resistant surface, with suffi cient clear-
ance on all sides.
3. Lift up and close the glass lid (1).

7. Heat up the device. The control lamp (12) will light up during heating.
8. Once the control lamp (12) has gone out, open the glass lid (1) as far as it will go,
place the items to be grilled on the grill plate (10) and then close the glass lid (1)
again.
9. Turn the items to be grilled after a little while. Once they are as cooked and browned
as you want, remove them from the grill plate (10).
10. Switch off the device after use (move the thermostat regulator (13) to the OFF posi-
tion) and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket.
11. Allow the device to cool down completely and then clean it (see "Cleaning and Stor-
age").

4. Move the thermostat regulator (13) to the OFF position.
5. Connect the mains plug (8) to an easily accessible plug
socket.
6. Use the thermostat regulator (13) to set the temperature
level you want: Turn the number of the temperature level
towards the control lamp (12). There are 5 temperature
