Touch the end of the wires to the outputs of
•
the measured device. Read the display.
Connect the two ends of the cables. The
•
display will show the result, and the device will
beep if the measured value is under 35Ω.
Warning! make sure that the measured
circuit is not under voltage before
measuring.
note: measuring a circuit under voltage may show faulty
values and damage the device!
in case of an unclear measuring result remove the faulty
part from the circuit and repeat the measuring.
data hold function
Press the HOLD button once. If the HOLD
•
function is active, the device will beep, hold
the value and HOLD will appear on the display.
To turn off the HOLD function press the button
•
again, the device will beep and continue
measuring.
Storing peak values
This function is for storing maximum and
minimum values when measuring current and
voltage.
Press the PEAK button once. The maximum
•
peak value can be stored, the display will show
P MAX and the device beeps.
Press the PEAK button again, then the
•
minimum peak value can be stored, P MIN will
appear on the display and the device beeps.
To turn off the PEAK function hold the button
•
down for about 3 seconds, the device will
beep and continue measuring.

note: using the backlight may reduce the lifetime of the
battery.
automatic turn off
The device turns off approximately 20 minutes
after the last measurement. To turn the device
on again, press one of the buttons or turn the
function switch. Before turning the device on
the above way, make sure that the measuring
wires are not connected to any circuits to avoid
personal hazards and damage to the device.

attery replaceMent
When the battery icon is displayed on the
screen, battery power is running low and needs
to be replaced. Follow the instructions below to
replace the 9V (IEC 6F 22) battery.
Disconnect the measuring wires from every
•
circuit and remove them from the device's
connectors.
Set the function switch to the OFF position.
•
To open the battery container lid use a
screwdriver.
Remove the used battery and replace it to a
•
new 9V IEC 6F 22 type battery.
Screw the cover back.
