Set the function switch to 1000A, 400A or 40A
•
position and make sure that the measured
current does not exceed the selected
threshold! The device will automatically set
itself for DC current measurement.
Press the DC ZERO button once, the ∆ sign will
•
appear on the screen, the indicator range is 0.
Press the trigger to open the clamps and place
•
it over and around the conductor.
Read the display.
•
Warning: make sure that the measuring
wires are not connected to the device when
measuring with the clamps!
note: the clamps should be tightly shut when measuring
current as otherwise the accuracy of the measured values
may differ.
