Replacing dust cover
1 Dust cover
Remove the old dust cover by pulling it
downward.
Attach the new dust cover, press it up-
ward and lock it in.
Fault
Appliance cannot be started
Device does not drive or
drives only slowly
Device does not brake
Polishing head cannot be
raised or lowered
No pad drive
Polishing head vibrates
Poor dust suction
Checking the drive chain

Loosen screws.
Remove front panel.

Remedy
Insert the battery plug on the device.
Release emergency-stop button by turning.
Check battery cable for correct sitting.
Check battery cable for corrosion; clean, if required.
Battery capacity exhausted; recharge battery.
Check main fuse, replace if required
Press the unlocking key.
Reset fuse of traction drive
Control overheated; switch off the device and let it cool down for 15 minutes.
Release accelerator pedal, turn the key switch to "0", turn the key switch to "1", press
the safety pedal, press unlocking key, press accelerator pedal.
Battery capacity exhausted; recharge battery.
Deactivate immobilising brake; press the unlocking lever upward to activate it.
Reset fuse of control system.
Check main fuse, replace if required
Foreign particles in the pad; remove them.
Pad has not been centered; loosen the pad and attach it again.
Suction hose blocked; clean suction hose.
Loosen screws.
Remove the lid.
Check the chain drive and pinion for
wear.

Faults

Danger
Risk of injury! Before carrying out any tasks
on the machine, set the main key to "0" and
remove it. Pull out the battery plug.
In case of faults that cannot be remedied
using the table below please contact the
customer service.
