• Fill water reservoir halfway with a mixture of 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water.
• Put the plug in the mains and turn the temperature disc to its maximum.
• Wait until the machine has heated up and hold the iron above a sink or washbasin.
• Now press the steam button and discharge a continuous stream of steam. The
machine cleans itself in this way. CAUTION: to prevent scalding make sure you
do not come into contact with the hot steam!
• Refill the water reservoir with only water. Repeat this cycle of discharging steam
2 to 3 !times, but then with only water, until the vinegar smell has disappeared.
