Dispensing
Which fluid do you wish to dispense?
Be sure to observe all safety instructions and operating limitations.
Place the collecting vessel under the ejection tube. The ejection canula must face away from operator or any other
persons at all times.
Warning: For your own personal safety:
Never press down the plunger as long as there is no vessel to collect the liquid.
CAUTION: If the valve is damaged, reagent may drop out of the ejection canula!
Function and ventilation
Different than other dispensers Minispensor is the only dispenser which enables a non-tiredsome use. Long series of
work can be easily done. This new innovated dispenser can be operated with only three fingers. The plunger has to
be pushed down with the thumb (just like with an automatic pipette), the selected volume will then be obtained
through a spring.
Before the first use the dispenser has to be ventilated. The air caught in the supply pumps can be removed with 2-3
pumps
Volume adjustment
The Minispensor is supplied with a volume adapter , which is divided in 2 Fix-Volumina.
By rotating the pressure know you reach a second volume raster, which shows 50% of the total lift.
The two different volumina are named on the volume adaper and the arrow on the plunger, must be lined up with the
nd
2
arrow, showing on the volume adapter.
Disassembly
1. Screw of the volume adapeter (1) of the valve head (2).
2. You now have the pressure knob (function (3)) volume adaper with the spring (4) in your hand. The PTFE-plunger
is fixed to the funciton button (5).
3. The glass cylinder (6) is arrested into the valve head, which you can easily clean now.
4. For assembly just add all components back together again in reversed sequence
Caution!
The upper part must be tightly screwed on the valve head, otherwise it can leak.
Warning: Avoid personal injury from chemicals. The instruments, suction and ejection tube may contain reagent.
Always face them away from your body. Wear eye protection and protective clothing!
Please note:
