For example, if the head is in position 3 and the room temperature
is lower than the expected 20 °C while the system is working, it
means that the valve has been closed too early due to a higher local
temperaure by the radiator. In this case, turn the knob slightly until it is
halfway between position 3 and 4.
Vice versa, if the temperature is higher than the expected 20 °C when
the head is in position 3, it means the sensor is positioned where the
local temperature is lower and therefore keeps the valve open. In this
case, turn the knob until it is halfway between position 2 and 3.
If the thermostatic head is installed in a room that is not in use, you
can ensure the best energy savings by turning the knob to position
(corresponding to the 8 °C freeze protection temperature).
Maintenance
During maintenance of the radiator, you can use the thermostatic
head "shut off" function (position 0). This closes the radiator valve
mechanically without having to disassemble the thermostatic head.
Warning
To avoid excessive loads on the seal gasket of the thermostatic head
during the summer, it is recommended to place the knob in the fully
open position, marked by the symbol
.
Opening limit / locking of the knob
Limiting the knob opening and locking the knob is done when the
thermostatic head already is fitted on the valve body.
1.
Turn the knob to the position that you want to lock it to/partially
limit it to, and disconnect the limiter ring (A) with a screwdriver.

2.
Rotate the limiter ring. Using the "T" notch (see figure) as a refer-
ence, connect the ring so that the "T" notch is in line with one of the
3 icons on the back of the knob:
1.
ð
2. 0ï
3.
Lock

3a. Knob opening limit:
In position 0ï, the possible adjustment is limited from the selected
position to 0 (shut-off).
Example: Fix the knob in position 3 and the limiter ring in position
0ï. This allows the knob to be fully closed, or opened as far as 3.
In position
ð, the possible adjustment is limited from the selected
position to
(fully open).
TH-RV468
Example: Fix the knob in position 3 and the limiter ring in
position
ð. This allows the knob to be fully opened, or closed
as far as 3.
3b. Locking the adjustment range:
In the
Lock position, the adjustment is locked in the selected
position.
Example: Fix the knob in position 3 and the limiter in
position. This locks the knob in position 3 and it cannot be
adjusted.
To return the limiter to the default position:
1.
Align the "T" notch to the word "reset".
2.
Turn the knob so that position 3 on the thermostatic head is
aligned to the word "reset".
