CASTORS
SEAT HEIGHT
To
raise the
chair,
lift your body
weight
and pull lever up.
To
lower the chair, stay seated and pull lever up.
SEAT DEPTH
Lift lever handles and hold, slide seat forward or back,
and release lever handles to lock. With your back against
the chair, you should have 5-7 cm of space between the
back of your knees and the seat edge. Tip: lift weight out
of the seat
when
adjusting depth.
BACK TENSION AND BACK ANGLE
Turn
the comfort dial to one of the four comfort settings:
• Upright back lock
• Mid-stop recline
•
Full
recline with
weight-activated
tension+ 20% boost
• Full recline with
weight-activated
tension
ADJUSTABLE LUMBAR
For additional back support, grab both handles and slide up
or down. Position the lumbar to fit comfortably into the curve
of your lower back.
HEIGHT/ WIDTH /PIVOT/ DEPTH ADJUSTABLE
ARMS•
Lift button under arm caps to adjust height. To adIust arm
cap position, grasp arm caps and slide or pivot in any
direction. Your elbows should stay close to your sides
and your wrists straight.
ADJUSTABLE HEADREST'"
Grasp the headrest and move up or down to adjust height.
Rotate forward or backward to adjust angle.
The
choice of castors depends upon the type of flooring the chair will be used on

for hard floors (such as
stone, wooc, laminate, linoleium etc) select a soft castor. On soft flooring (carpet etc) select a hard castor.
WARRANTY
Please be aware that the product should be used as an office work chair only: any other use can be
dangerous for your own safety. The standard task chair is tested to EN 1335-1,2 (normal 8 hour day
by persons
weighing
up to 110 Kgs). For replacement of your chair's adIustable gas lift, only qualified
persons (Steelcase staff and dealer engineers) can service the product. Fabrics/Warranty : for any basic
advice for taking care of your chair and information concerning general warranties, please check on the
website or the Steelcase dealer where you purchased your chair.
