GET STARTED!

Before using the kettle for the first time, we recommend wiping the surface with
a damp cloth. Then clean the inside the jug by filling it with water up to the maximum
level and allowing it to boil. Repeat twice. Pour out the water.
NOTE!
The kettle's maximum volume is 1.7 litres.
USE
1. Fill the kettle by removing it from the base plate and pressing the button on the lid.
Fill with the desired volume of water and close the lid. The kettle can also be filled
through the spout. The water level must not exceed the MAX mark or be below
the MIN mark. If there is too little water, the kettle may switch off before the water
has boiled.
2. Place the kettle on the base plate.
3. Connect the plug to a wall socket. Push the On/Off switch to turn on the power.
The indicator lamp in the appliance will turn on. The kettle will now start boiling
the water. It turns off automatically as soon as the water boils. The power can be
turned off at any point while the water is boiling by pushing the On/Off switch
upwards. Push the On/Off switch downwards again when you want to restart boiling.
NOTE!
Make sure that the On/Off switch is not obstructed and
that the lid is properly closed. The kettle will not turn off if
something is obstructing the On/Off switch or if the lid is open.
4. Lift the kettle from the base plate, then pour the water.
WARNING!
water can scald. Do not open the lid while the water in
the kettle is hot.
5. The kettle will not start to boil again until you push the On/Off switch.
The kettle can be stored on the base plate when not in use.
NOTE!
Always disconnect the plug and store it in
the base plate when the appliance is not in use.
BOIL-DRY PROTECTION
If you accidentally turn on the kettle without water, the boil-dry protection activates
and automatically turns off the power. If this happens, allow the kettle to cool down
before filling it with cold water again.
