The para canbe accelerated or slowed down by using the accelerator. Full accelerated it is
easy to ascend fast with motor. While gliding you can put back the acceleration.

You can adjust the performance and speed of the model depending on the wind situation by
adding or reducing weight of the paramotor:
Light wind = light backpack without additional weights = slow speed
- Stronger wind = heavier backpack with 200 – 400g additional weight = higher speeds =

11. Tipps zum Fliegen / Tips for flying:
Der RC-Astral ist ein absolutes High-End Modell für Fortgeschrittene und Profis. Die
Flugeigenschaften hinsichtlich der Leistung in der Thermik, beim Soaren und beim Motorfliegen
entsprechen denen des Originals.
Wichtig beim Start ist, dass der Schirm so ausgelegt wird, dass er „hufeisenförmig" auf dem Boden
liegt. Die Pilotenpuppe muss so gehalten werden, dass sich die Bremsleinen nicht verkürzen. Sind die
Bremsleinen durch falsches Halten verkürzt, lässt sich der Schirm nicht starten. Beim Aufziehen des
Schirms sollte der Zug der Leinen als erstes bei den inneren und mittleren A-Leinen ankommen.
Deshalb wird der Schirm auch hufeisenförmig ausgelegt. Es empfiehlt sich, den Vorbeschleuniger
schon beim Start zu benutzten. Immer gegen den Wind starten. Die Kammern/Zellen sollten leicht
geöffnet sein, damit sich schnell der Staudruck beim Aufziehen aufbauen kann. Das Starten ist die
schwierigste Flugphase. Diese sollte man beherrschen.
The RC Astral is a serious high-end model for beginners, advanced, and experts. The flight
characteristics in terms of performance in the thermals, soaring and motor flying can by directly
compared to those of the original.
Important on starting the glider is to lay it on the ground as a bow. The pilot respectively the
backback must be held without reducing the brake line length; in this case the glider will not start. We
recommend using the accelerator to make starting easier. Always perform your start windwards. The
cells should be opened slightly to enable the optimal air intake upon start maneuver. You should
practice the start procedure several times; it is the most important flight phase.
