MFX 510QI BLIND RIVET NUT HAND TOOL

3. Equipment
1 hand tool MFX 510QI supplied with mandrels and anvils from M5 to M10 and adapters for
blind rivet bolts from M5 to M8.
Available on demand: mandrel and anvil for blind rivet nuts M12.
4. Operating the tool
When choosing the rivet nut or bolt, it is important that the clamping capacity of the fast-
ener is never exceeded. Only then a correct setting of the fastener can be guaranteed.
4.1 Setting the right stroke
1 Screw rivet nut or bolt onto the mandrel or adapter.
2 The stop nut (G) will determine the stroke length and must be adjusted to give the cor-
rect blind rivet nut setting.
To adjust stroke turn nut (G) with handles closed, anti clockwise to reduce and clockwise
to increase. Stroke setting indicator (I) indicates the stroke.
The spinner nut (F) can be used to run blind rivet nut onto mandrel (E), ensure handles
are fully open.
