Important Safety Information

Devices can be used by persons with limited physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, and persons lacking
experienceand/or lacking knowledge,if they are
supervised or have received instructions regarding how
the device is to be used safely and have understood the
resu ting hazards.
• This device must not be used by children. The device
and its connecting cable are to be kept away from
children.
• Chi dren should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the device.
• The device is always to be disconnected from the
mains by disconnecting the power plug when there is
no supervision present or for a fault during operation,
prior to assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
• If the supply cable of this device is damaged, the
manufacturer, his customer service or a similarly quali-
fied person must replace it in order to avoid hazards.
• Use caution when handling the sharp cuttings blades,
when emptying the jar and when cleaning.
• Clean the container
• Clean after use all surfaces, which have got in contact
with food. Follow the notes in chapter „CIeaning and
care"

Theadvice may only be used for its intended purpose according to these
operating instructions. Therefore, carefully read the operating instructions prior
to start-up. They provide instructions for use, cleaning and care of the device. We
are not responsible for any damage if the instructions are not observed. Keep the
operating instructions in a safe place and pass them on to the subsequent user
together with the device. Also note the warranty information at the end Of the
operating instructions. The device is not intended for commercial use, but rather
only for the preparation of food in common household amounts

Safety Guidelines

The appliance is designed for short-time
seconds use to allow the appliance to cool down.
• Connect the appliance to an alternating current only, with vo tage in accord
ance with that shown on the appliance's type label. The wire and plug must
be dry.
Never disconnect the mains plug from the socket by the cord or with wet
hands.
The appliance and the connection cable should be protected from the effects
of heat.
Do not switch the appliance on when the container is empty.
It is important to wait until the blades have stopped moving before removing
the cover.
The blades are sharp For this reason, always replace the protective cover when
the blades are not in use.
Stop usingthe applianceand/orconnectit from the mainsplug immediately
The appliance or mains cable is damaged
There is any suspicion of a fault after dropping the appliance or similar.
In such cases,send the appliance to be repaired.
Do not immerse the drive unit In water.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
No liability is accepted for damages resulting from misuse, incorrect opera-
tion, improper repairs or the use of accessoriesnot designed for this appliance
Claims under warranty are likewise excluded in such cases.

Use
Using the multi-chopper you can cut and chop onions, fruit, vegetables, hard
cheese, herbs, nuts and meat.
For the chopping and cutting of soft foods such as herbs, use speedsetting 1
For harder foods, or if you want to chop foods more fine y, select speed setting 2
on thespeedcontrol (4).
