1. General Instructions
• Read these instructions and keep them safe. Follow all instructions.
• Not suitable for children under 6 years! The package may contain small parts that can be swallowed. Choking hazard due to plastic film and small parts. Keep
plastic films, bags, straps, etc. away from children as there is a risk of suffocation. Children can strangle themselves with cables.
Keep cables out of reach of children.
• Always check the product for damage before use. If damaged, do not use it. Repair, maintenance, or replacement is required if any damage is present.
For example, if liquid or objects have entered the device, the device has been exposed to rain or moisture, is not functioning properly, or has been dropped.
Contact your dealer to have the device checked.
• For alcoholic liquids: Keep away from ignition sources – Do not smoke!
2. Storage
• Avoid storing liquids in places with direct sunlight, temperature fluctuations, and high humidity.
Also, do not place liquids near heaters, heat lamps, or other devices that produce heat.
• Electrical devices should never be operated near water.
• If batteries (including battery packs or replaceable dry batteries) are used, do not expose them to direct sunlight, fire, or high heat.
• Do not store sound carriers near heaters, heat lamps, or other devices that produce heat.
3. Maintenance
Never use aggressive cleaning agents.
4. Health Instructions
• Prolonged high volume can cause various hearing damages. Handle high volumes responsibly!
• Risk of injury from sharp or pointed objects.
• Risk of injury from heavy objects.
• Risk of injury from pinching.
• Liquids:
- Eyes: This product can irritate the eyes! In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with clear water!
- Skin: This product can cause skin irritation after prolonged contact!
- Respiratory tract: Can cause bronchial irritation! Vapors can cause drowsiness and dizziness. Use only with adequate ventilation! Do not inhale!
Without adequate ventilation – formation of explosive mixtures possible.
- Ingestion/Swallowing: This product has not been tested for hazards from swallowing. Do not drink!
- Highly flammable and irritating.
- Harmful to aquatic organisms, may have long-term harmful effects in water bodies.
Keep out of reach of children!
• For products containing magnets:
- Avoid contact with pacemakers!
- Avoid contact with any credit cards!
5. Disclaimer of Liability
Use only accessories approved by the manufacturer. Warranty claims will be void if damage occurs due to non-compliance with the operating instructions.
We assume no liability for consequential damages resulting from such non-compliance.
Disclaimer: Clearaudio accepts no liability for damage to audio carriers caused by improper handling.
6. Service
• Never open a device to expose internal electronics, as there are no user-serviceable parts inside.
Doing so may void the warranty. Leave all repairs/maintenance to qualified personnel.
• All Clearaudio products must be repaired only by the manufacturer during the warranty period, or the warranty will be voided.
Service for all Clearaudio products should be handled exclusively through authorized dealers. If service is required despite the high manufacturing standard,
the Clearaudio product must be sent to Clearaudio through your dealer.
• If malfunctions occur, contact the dealer where the product was purchased. Do not use the product again until it has been repaired.
7. Transport
Always use the original packaging when transporting Clearaudio products. Ensure that the product is packed exactly as it was when delivered.
Safe transport can only be guaranteed in its original packaging. When repacking, follow the reverse order of the setup and commissioning instructions.
8. CE Compliance
This product complies with the requirements of European directives and other regulations of the European Commission.
9. Disposal
For Customers in Europe: Disposal of electrical and electronic devices, as well as batteries and rechargeable batteries:
a) If a product, its packaging, and/or accompanying documentation is marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin, the product is subject to
European directives and national laws implementing these directives.
b) These directives and laws stipulate that electrical and electronic devices, as well as batteries and rechargeable batteries, must not be disposed of with
household waste (residual waste).
You are required to dispose of old devices and discharged batteries/rechargeable batteries at designated collection points to ensure proper disposal, processing,
and recycling.
c) Proper disposal of such devices, batteries, and rechargeable batteries helps conserve valuable resources and prevents potentially harmful effects on public
health and the environment caused by improper waste disposal. Disposal is free of charge.
d) For more information on the collection and recycling of old devices, batteries, and rechargeable batteries, please contact your local authorities, your waste
disposal company, or the retailer where you purchased the product.
