Pairing procedure:
1. Turn on your transmitter.
2. The receiver must be switched off.
3. On the transmitter, use the 1/A button to select the pairing position for the
first receiver or the 2/B position for the second receiver (not valid for Easy
series transmitters).
4. Hold the bottom of the transmitter against the red target/half round
indicator on the receiver (see picture in chapter 5.3) for 5 seconds. The red
indicator light comes on, followed by the green indicator light.
5. After 5 seconds, both indicator lights flash 4 times simultaneously. This puts
the receiver into pairing mode.
6. Press the acoustic signal button.
7. Successful pairing is indicated by a long beep from the receiver.
TIP: You can pair an unlimited number of receivers to one transmitter. All of
these receivers will behave the same when the function button is pressed.
For example, two receivers can be used on the neck of one dog.
5.5 Contact point selection (not valid for vibration model receivers)
Stainless steel contact are used to ensure the transmission of stimulation
impulses from the receiver to the dog's skin. Each package contains two types.
If your dog has short hair, use the short contact points. If you have a dog with
longer or thicker hair, choose the longer ones. Screw the contact points onto
the receiver - see Figure 1/2 on 2 and tighten by hand. Do not use pliers or other
tools to tighten, you may cause irreparable damage to the product.
TIP: If your dog's coat is too long, it is possible to order contact points with
a length of 21 mm. If the dog has dry skin, it is a good idea to lubricate
the skin where the contact points touch with medical petroleum jelly,
moisturizing oil, etc. This will ensure better transmission of stimulating
impulses.
