Switching ON / OFF
Press and hold the Power/mode button for >2 seconds to turn the unit
ON and all the LEDs will cycle through their colours. The RX+S will then
display its sensitivity and mode settings, by illuminating the indicator
LEDs for 10 seconds.
10 seconds after the last button press, all LEDs will be extinguished, but
the unit remains ON. This is to conserve power and reduce the chances
of the RX+S being spotted.
To check if the unit is ON and to check or alter the settings, briefly
press either of the buttons. This will illuminate the LEDs for a further 10
seconds.
To turn the RX+S OFF, press and hold the Power/mode button for >2
seconds. The two indicator LEDs will flash red three times and the unit
will power off.
If the unit is registered to an RX+ receiver, three beeps will be heard
from the receiver when the RX+S unit is switched OFF, as an anti-theft
feature (similar to the RX+ bite alarm)
The RX+S comes with a hard case cover. Please ensure the unit is
switched off before fitting the hardcase, as it obscures the operation
buttons, to prevent accidental button presses during transport and
storage.
RX+S Settings
The RX+S has two switchable sensitivity settings, which can be selected
by pressing and releasing the Sensitivity button on the rear of the unit.
Regardless of LED colour, the sensitivity setting is shown by:
• LED A is illuminated – Low Sensitivity
• LEDs A and B are illuminated – High Sensitivity
