Heat up the device:
- Before first use, clean the grill plate and pans with mild dishwater and dry them thoroughly.
- Insert the power plug into a household socket, making sure that the on/off switch is in

- Heat the appliance for approximately 10 minutes without food. A slight odor and smoke
may be emitted. This is normal and harmless; the protective coating required for production
is evaporating. Ventilate the room thoroughly.
- Then rinse the grill plate and pans as described under "Cleaning and Care".
Mains connection:
- This appliance is equipped with a grounding cable and a grounding mains plug.
- The device may only be connected to a properly installed, grounded outlet (220-240V ~
50/60 Hz). Grounding reduces the risk of electric shock in the event of a short circuit.
- The socket should be freely accessible so that the power plug can be pulled out immediately
in the event of a fault.
- If the cable and/or plug are damaged, the device must not be used.
- The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage indicated on the device's rating plate.
- The device complies with the directives that are mandatory for CE marking.
Please note:
