Voltage and polarity: Thesetmustbeconnected to a 12 V car battery withnegative
terminal to earth (car chassis)
• Remov e the'Security Card'beforeinstalling theset.
Warning: Toprevent s hort-circuiting, disconnect thenegative carbatteryterminal u ntil
the set has been mounted and connected.
• INSTALLING
•Install themetalsleevein thedashboard(Fig. 1).
• Fixmetal s leeve intoplaceby pressing themetal t agsoutwards usinga screwdriver.

If yourcarisequipped withISOcarradioconnectors, simplyinsert t hemin connectors
A and B of thecarradio.If not,youcanuseanadaptor cable (see liston paged).

• RedJ'+12 V SW." [A71:Connect to a switched 12 V supply (switched on/off bycar
ignition).
• Yellow/red " +12 V PERM."[A41:Connect to a permanent 12 V supply. This supply i s
needed
for theset's memory. I t alsoensures thata CDchanger f unctions c orrectly.
• Brown "GROUND"
Loudspeakers (connector B) (only use 4 ohm loudspeakers)
- Donotconnect a nyof theloudspeaker leadsto earthor directlyto a booster/amplifier.

• CD changer: Youcanconnect a CDchanger (D2Btype) to thisset(see themounting
instructions
for theCDchanger). I nsert t heplugfromtheCDchangerintoconnector C .
