Configuring Your Hardware

The PowerVault NX1950 storage solution is configured from Dell to
include the following peripherals:
• PowerEdge™ Expandable RAID Controller (PERC) 5/i for internal
hardware redundant array of independent disks (RAID) 1
• Serial-attached SCSI (SAS) 5/E host bus adapter (HBA) controller
to connect to the PowerVault storage sub-system for the integrated
solution
• QLE2462 Fibre Channel HBA to connect to existing or new SANs
for the SAN gateway solution
