The GEOLINE points in digital operation

The point machine must be provided with a point decoder (Art. 61196) in order to begin the usage of a
GEOLINE point in digital operation. All GEOLINE points are designed in such a manner that the installation
of this decoder is possible without any additional cabling being necessary.

In order to start the electrical operation of the point
via the point switch (Art. 10526), the connector plug of
the supply cable is to be plugged into the plug socket,
which can be found on the front side of the electric dri-
ve. In doing so it is to be observed that the colours of
the cable match up with the colours in the colour enco-
ding found above the plug socket (Fig.11).
In order to polarise the crossing point switch the con-
nector plug is to be plugged into the plug socket at
the end of the electric drive. In doing so it is also to be
observed here that the colours of the cable match up
with the colours in the colour encoding found above
the plug socket.
The five-pin plug of the point decoder is to be
plugged into the available plug socket on the plug
board next to the polarisation plug. The polarisa-
tion plug may not be removed in doing so as this
provides the power supply for the point decoder.
Once the point decoder has been positioned, it is to
be fastened with the enclosed screws.
