GEFAHR
Gefahr durch falsche Handhabung des Seitenständers!
• Überprüfe, ob dein Fahrrad kompatibel für die Montage eines Hinterbauständers ist (siehe
„Kompatibilität" unten). Informiere dich in der Anleitung deines Fahrrads, ob dein Fahrrad besondere
Anforderungen an den zu verwendenden Ständer stellt, z. B. bei Carbon-Rahmen.
• Achte beim Beladen des Fahrrads auf eine mögliche Änderung des Schwerpunkts und vermeide
einen instabilen Stand.
• Achte darauf, dass die Standfestigkeit auf losem Untergrund eingeschränkt sein kann.
• Bei Mitnahme von Kindern in einem Kindersitz darf das Fahrrad nicht mit dem Fahrradständer
abgestellt werden.
• Der Ständer darf nur im Rahmen seines bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauchs verwendet werden
(siehe unten).
• Ziehe bei Unklarheiten oder Fragen einen ausgebildeten Zweiradmechatroniker hinzu.
Allgemeines
Diese Bedienungsanleitung muss vor der ersten Verwendung des Ständers gelesen und verstanden worden
sein. Bewahre diese Bedienungsanleitung für späteres Nachschlagen auf. Verkaufst oder verschenkst du den
Ständer, muss diese Bedienungsanleitung beigelegt werden.
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Der Ständer ist ausschließlich für die Benutzung an 26"-29" Fahrrädern und Pedelecs (25 km/h) zur Montage
an der linken Kettenstrebe bestimmt. Die Nutzung an einem S-Pedelec (45 km/h, Fahrzeugklasse L1e) ist nur
als Ersatz für ein baugleiches Modell erlaubt. Die maximale Belastbarkeit beträgt 50 kg.
Kompatibilität
Der Ständer ist mit dem KSA 40 Montagestandard kompatibel. Diese Aufnahme befindet sich an der linken
Kettenstrebe und zeichnet sich durch einen Lochabstand von 40 mm aus.
Die Bohrungen in der Kettenstrebe dürfen keine Gewinde besitzen. Je nach Möglichkeit kann der Ständer
innen, alternativ auch außen an der Kettenstrebe angeschraubt werden. Schrauben und Schraubenköpfe
dürfen nicht mit rotierenden Teilen in Berührung kommen.
A
Ständer montieren
1. Reinige den Montagebereich des Ständers an der Kettenstrebe.
2. Klappe den Ständer ein.
3. Positioniere den Ständer mit der Montageplatte (2) von innen (oder außen) an der Kettenstrebe.
Drehe beide Schrauben (1) von der gegenüberliegenden Seite durch die Bohrungen der Kettenstrebe
vollständig in die Gewinde der Montageplatte (2).
Im Lieferumfang befinden sich verschiedene Schraubenausführungen. Wähle die von der Länge und
Kopfform zu der Kettenstrebe deines Fahrrads passenden Schrauben und U-Scheiben.
4. Überprüfe den passgenauen Sitz und ziehe die Schrauben (1) mit einem Drehmoment von 8 Nm an.
B
Ständer einstellen
1. Stell dein Fahrrad senkrecht ausgerichtet ab und sichere es gegen Umfallen.
2. Klappe den Ständer in die Abstellposition aus.
3. Drehe die Klemmschraube (4) einige Umdrehungen heraus und schiebe den Ständerfuß (3) auf das
ungefähre Abstell-Maß wenige Zentimeter über dem Boden. Drehe die Klemmschraube fest.
4. Stell dein Fahrrad auf dem Ständer ab. Justiere die Länge nach, bis der Abstellwinkel des Fahrrads
ca. 10° beträgt.
5. Überprüfe den stabilen Stand.
Wartung und Pflege
Regelmäßige Wartung und Pflege sorgen für eine lange und zuverlässige Haltbarkeit sowie eine
uneingeschränkte Funktion. ROSE Bikes empfiehlt folgende Tätigkeiten:
• Prüfe regelmäßig den festen Sitz des Ständers und den korrekten Abstellwinkel.
• Reinige den Ständer regelmäßig und prüfe den Zustand des Ständers.
• Fette das Gelenk des Ständers und öle den Federmechanismus bei Bedarf.

DANGER
Danger due to improper handling of the kickstand!
• Check whether your bike is compatible for mounting a rear mount kickstand (see "Compatibility"
below). Check the manual of your bike to find out whether it has any special requirements for the
kickstand to be used, e.g. for carbon frames.
• When loading the bike, pay attention to a possible change in the centre of gravity and avoid an
unstable position.
• Please note that stability may be limited on loose surfaces.
• If children are travelling in a child seat, the bike must not be parked with the kickstand.
• The kickstand may only be used for its intended purpose (see below).
• If in doubt, please consult a qualified bicycle mechanic.
General information
Please read the manual carefully before using the kickstand for the first time and make sure you understand
everything. Keep this manual for future reference. If you sell or give away the kickstand, please also include
this manual.
Intended use
The kickstand is exclusively intended for use on 26"-29" bikes and pedelecs (25 km/h) for mounting on the
left-hand chainstay. Use on an S pedelec (45 km/h, vehicle category L1e) is only permitted as a replacement
for a technically identical model. The maximum load capacity is 50 kg.
Compatibility
The stand is compatible with the KSA 40 mounting standard. This mount is located on the left-hand chainstay
and is characterised by a bolt spacing of 40 mm.
The holes in the chainstay must not be threaded. As far as possible, the stand can be bolted to the inside or
alternatively to the outside of the chainstay. Bolts and bolt heads must not come into contact with rotating
parts.
A Mounting the kickstand
1. Clean the mounting area of the kickstand on the chainstay.
2. Fold in the stand.
3. Position the kickstand with the mounting plate (2) on the inside (or outside) of the chainstay. Screw both
bolts (1) from the opposite side through the holes of the chainstay completely into the threads of the
mounting plate (2).
There are two different bolts included in the delivery. Choose the bolts and washers that match the
length and head shape of your bike's chainstay.
4. Check the tight fit and tighten the bolts (1) to a torque of 8 Nm.
B Adjusting the kickstand
1. Park your bike vertically and secure it to prevent it from falling over.
2. Fold the kickstand out into the parking position.
3. Unscrew the clamp bolt (4) a few turns and adjust the stand base (3) to the approximate parking
dimension a few centimetres above the ground. Tighten the clamp bolt.
4. Park your bike on the stand. Adjust the length until the parking angle of the bike is approximately 10°.
5. Check the stability.
Maintenance and care
Regular care and maintenance ensure high durability and reliability, as well as unlimited functionality.
ROSE Bikes recommends carrying out the following tasks:
• Regularly check the tight fit of the kickstand and its correct parking angle.
• Clean the kickstand regularly and check its condition.
• Grease the kickstand joint and oil the spring mechanism if necessary.
