positioned to ensure that water does not flow into the switch
or control.
17. SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED PRODUCTS. In a
double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are
provided instead of grounding. No grounding means is
provided on a double-insulated product, nor should a means
for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing a
double-insulated product requires extreme care and
knowledge of the system, and should be done only by
qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a
double-insulated appliance must be identical to the parts
they replace.
18. The device is intended for household use only and not
intended for medical use. It should not be used in treatment
or alleviation of disease or abnormal physical state.
1. Do not expose the appliance or battery to excessive
temperatures.
2. Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
3. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not
to be mixed.
4. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance
and safely disposed of.
5. If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the
batteries should be removed.
6. Do not use modified or damaged batteries.
7. Be aware of the risk of terminals of the battery-operated
appliance or battery being short-circuited by metal objects.
8. This appliance contains non-rechargeable batteries, these
batteries are not to be recharged.
9. Always insert batteries correctly with regard to the polarities
(+ and-) marked on the battery.
10. Do not short-circuit batteries.
11. Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
