Troubleshooting

Problem
The hob cannot be
tu rned on.
The touch cont rol s

makes a low
hummin g noise when
used on
a high heat settin g.

water over the cont rols or you
may b e using the tip of your
fin ger when touchin g the
cont rols .

or cleanin g procucts being
used.

This is caused by th e
technolog y of ceramic
cook ing.
A cool ing fan bui lt int o your
ceramic h ob has come on to
prevent th e electronics from
overheatin g. It may continu e
to run even aft er you'v e
um ed th e ceramic h ob off .
The ceramic h ob cannot
detect th e pan because it is
not suitab le for ceramic
cook ing.

or not properly cent red on it .

What to do
Make sure the hob is
connedt ed to the power supp ly
and that it i s swit ched on.
Check wheth er there is a powe r
outa ge in your home or area. If
you `we chcked everythin g and th e
problem persists, call a qualifi ed
techni cian.
Unlock the cont rols , See secti on

instructi ons.
Make sure the touch cont rol area is
dry and use the ball of your fin ger
when touchin g the cont rols .
Use cookw are with flat and smooth

cook ing zone.
