水や異物が入ると火災の原因となります。万一、水や異物が
入ったときは、 VAIO カスタマーリンク修理窓口または販売店
にご相談ください。

安定した場所に置く
ぐらついた台の上や傾いたところなどに置くと、製品が落ちて

コード類は正しく配置する
コード類は足に引っかけたりして引っぱると製品の落下や
転倒などによりけがの原因となることがあるため、十分注意し
て接続・配置してください。
電波障害自主規制について
この装置は、情報処理装置等電波障害自主規制協議会 （ VCCI ） の基準に
基づくクラス B 情報技術装置です。この装置は、家庭環境で使用すること
を目的としていますが、この装置がラジオやテレビジョン受信機に近接
して使用されると、受信障害を引き起こすことがあります。
取扱説明書に従って正しい取り扱いをしてください。
お使いになる前に
本ドライブは、ソニーノートブックコンピュータ専用の USB 対応フロッ
ピーディスクドライブです。機種によっては使えないものもあります。
お使いになる前に、お手持ちの機器をお確かめください。
使いかたについて詳しくは、お使いになるコンピュータに付属の取扱説明
書をご覧ください。
使用上のご注意
次の注意事項をお守りください。具合の悪いときは、 VAIO カスタマー
リンクへご連絡ください。 VAIO カスタマーリンクについては、コン
ピュータ本体に付属の 「 VAIO サービス・サポートのご案内」 をご覧
ください。
設置場所についてのご注意
次のような場所には置かないでください。
•
腐食性ガスの発生する所
• 直射日光の当たる所や熱器具の近くなど、温度の高い所
• 温度変化の激しい所
•
湿気やほこりのある所
お手入れについて
• 汚れがついたときは、柔らかい布やティッシュペーパーなどで、きれいに
拭き取ってください。汚れがひどいときは、水でうすめた中性洗剤に柔ら
かい布をひたし、固くしぼってから汚れを拭き取り、乾いた布で仕上げて
ください。
• アルコール、シンナー、ベンジンなどは使わないでください。変質した
り、塗装がはげたりすることがあります。
• 殺虫剤のような揮発性のものをかけたり、ゴムやビニール製品に長時間
接触させると、変質したり、塗装がはげたりすることがあります。

• この製品は保証書が添付されていますので、お買い上げの際、販売店から
お受け取りください。
• 所定事項の記入および記載内容をお確かめのうえ、大切に保存して
ください。

保証期間中の修理は
保証書の記載内容に基づいて修理させていただきます。ただし、故障の
原因が不当な分解や改造であると判明した場合は、保証期間内であっても
有償修理とさせていただきます。

保証期間経過後の修理は
修理によって機能が維持できる場合は、ご要望により有料で修理させてい
ただきます。
修理について
当社では本ドライブの修理は引取修理を行っています。
当社指定業者がお客様宅に修理機器をお引き取りにうかがい、修理完了後
にお届けします。詳しくはコンピュータ本体に付属の 「 VAIO サービス・
サポートのご案内」 をご覧ください。
部品の交換について
この製品は、修理の際、交換した部品を再生、再利用する場合がありま
す。その際、交換した部品は回収させて頂きますので、ご協力ください。
部品の保有期間について
当社では本ドライブの補修用性能部品 （製品の機能を維持するために必要な
部品） を、製造打ち切り後最低 8 年間保有しています。この部品保有期間を修
理可能の期間とさせていただきます。保有期間が経過したあとも、故障箇
所によっては修理可能の場合がありますので、お買い上げ店か、 VAIO カ
スタマーリンク修理窓口にご相談ください。

The Sony PCGA-UFD5 is the USB floppy disk drive designed exclusively for
Sony Notebook Computers. However, this floppy disk drive may not be used
with some models. Before connecting the floppy disk drive, check your

Note on use

On cleaning
Clean the unit with a soft dry cloth, or a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild
detergent solution. Do not use any type of solvent, such as alcohol or benzine,
which may damage the finish.
