Maintenance, cleaning,
storage and transport

Maintenance

The line laser is practically maintenance-free.
Only use spare parts / accessories from the
manufacturer or authorised and qualified
workshops.
Repairs should only be carried out by qualified
technicians or by an authorised service centre.
Qualified technicians must have relevant
training and experience, be familiar with the
design and construction requirements of the
product and understand and follow the safety
regulations.
Like every test equipment, the line laser has to
be checked regularly. In case of frequent use,
we recommend you to
check the level at least twice a year. Use only a
calibrated test instrument for this purpose and
consult a technician if required. Get the line
laser recalibrated if necessary.

Cleaning

CAUTION!
Make sure that liquids do not get inside
the product.
• Clean the product with a moist cloth. Never
use strong and / or abrasive cleaning agents
or solvents. Then allow all the parts to dry
completely.
• Clean the body regularly with a soft cloth.

Storage

• Remove the tripod before storage (see
chapter "Mounting / removing the tripod").
- Store the tripod and line laser separately
• Remove the batteries before storing
(see chapter "Inserting / removing the
batteries").
• Clean the product before storage (see chapter
"Cleaning").
• Keep the product in a safe, cool, dry and well-
ventilated place in its original packaging, out
of the reach of children when it is not being
used.
• Store the product and the batteries at an
ambient temperature of 0 - 40° C.

Transport

• Use the original packaging and secure the
product against shock and vibrations during
transport.
