Safety warnings for batteries
a) Remove the batteries if the cross
line laser is not being used for a long
time.
b) Never recharge non rechargeable
batteries. There is a risk of explosion.
c) Ensure that the polarity is correct
when inserting.
d) If necessary, clean the contacts of
the battery and appliance before
inserting the batteries.
e) Immediately remove discharged
batteries from the appliance. High
risk of leakage.
f) Batteries are not to be disposed
of together with domestic waste.
See the instructions in the chapter
"Disposal" in this regard.
g) Keep batteries away from children.
h) Do not throw batteries into fire. There
is a risk of explosion.
i) Never short batteries and do not take
them apart.
j) Use protective gloves to remove the
battery, if it has leaked.
k) Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and
mucous membranes. In the event of
contact with battery acid, rinse the
area thoroughly with clean water and
immediately consult a doctor.

Use the product only in ambient
temperatures between 5 - 40° C.
Checking the line laser and scope
of delivery
• Remove the line laser and accessories from
the packaging.
• Check that the delivery is complete (see
section "Scope of delivery / Description of
parts").
• Check whether the line laser or the
accessories are damaged.
• Do not use the line laser if it is damaged or
parts are missing. Contact the service centre
mentioned on the warranty card.
Inserting / replacing the batteries
(Fig. A)
• Lift the latch of the battery compartment 1
cover.
• Remove the battery compartment cover.
• Remove the used batteries.
• Insert two type AA batteries 16 according
to the polarities 2 indicated in the battery
compartment.
• Replace the battery compartment cover.
- The latch of the battery compartment cover
must audibly lock into place.
