Mounting / removing the adapter
plate (Fig. B)
You can use the line laser with and without a
tripod. The adapter plate 18 allows you to
quickly change between the alignment options.
• Open the screw handle 17 on the back of the
adapter plate.
• Place the adapter plate with the semicircular
side 19 facing the laser window on the
threaded mount 3 .
• Tighten the screw handle clockwise by hand.
• Close the screw handle again.
• To remove the adapter plate, proceed in
the same order and turn the screw handle
counterclockwise.

• Mount the adapter plate 18 (see Chapter
"Mounting / Removing the adapter plate")
• Loosen and clamp the locking lever 4 in
the "FREE" position.
• Place the line laser in the mount on the
tripod 6 head.
- When aligning, make sure that the laser
points away from the locking lever.
• Push the locking lever against the tripod
head to the "LOCK" position.
• To remove the line laser, proceed in the same
order and dismount the line laser.

Setting up / folding the tripod
(Fig. D & E)
NOTE!
Position the laser levelling housing so that
it is flat and as horizontal
as possible before switching on the line
laser. Automatic leveling cannot take
place if the line laser is too far out of the
vertical.
The tripod can either be 11 hung on the tripod
hook or placed on a flat surface.
• Push the tripod legs 9 apart.
- Make sure to pull the tripod legs apart till
they stop noticeably.
• Tighten the fixing screw 12 in clockwise
direction.
• Open the latches of the respective tripod leg.
• Adjust the height of the tripod legs one by
one.
• Lock the latches 10 again.
• To fold, retract the tripod legs using the
same procedure and loosen the fixing screw
counterclockwise so that the tripod legs can
be folded.

CAUTION!
Protect the line laser from moisture and
direct sunlight.
