3. Connect the cable included in the scope of delivery to the scanner
4. Connect the cable to a suitable power supply unit or computer connection with USB type A socket (5
volt voltage, USB 2.0 standard is sufficient)
5. If the connection is successful, the LED lights up red and the battery charges.
When the battery is fully charged, the red LED goes out.
Alternatively, the spare battery can also be charged separately using the optional charging stations.
Using the charging station
The Rockscan W100 barcode scanner and its battery can also be charged using the optionally available
charging station. To charge the Rockscan W100 scanner with the charging station, proceed as follows:
1. Connect the cable of the charging station to a suitable power supply unit or computer connection with
USB type A socket (5V/2A is sufficient) or use the optional power supply unit.
2. Insert the barcode scanner into the charging station with the scan window facing upwards and the
underside facing outwards.
3. The charging slot status indicator of the device lights up red. When the battery is fully charged, the red
light goes out.
