Silencing an alarm
If an alarm is triggered unintentionally, an alarm hush function can be
activated for 10 minutes on the smoke detector.
To activate the hush function during an alarm, proceed as follows:
•
Briefly press the control button (D) once (< 4 s).
The acoustic alarm is silenced. The hush function is activated for 10 min-
utes.
6.4
Silencing in monitoring mode
In monitoring mode, the hush function can be activated for 10 minutes as
a precautionary measure if you want to avoid triggering an alarm in the
system.
To activate the hush function in monitoring mode, proceed as follows:
In monitoring mode, briefly press the control button (D) once (< 4 s).

This activates the alarm hush function for 10 minutes. When the control
button is pressed, a complete function test is performed including acous-
tic and optical signals.
