Never reach for the appliance if it falls into water. Immediately remove the plug from

the wall socket - do not use the appliance again.
Only use the base supplied with the kettle. Never use the base for other purposes.

Remove the jug from the base, then fill with water from the tap. Never fill the jug above
•
the 'max' level.
Only switch on the appliance after it has been filled with water. Only use cold water to
•
fill.
Whilst the appliance is in use, ensure the lid is securely closed.
•
Never open the lid when the water is still boiling.
•
Only water must be used in this appliance- do not use for other liquids.
•
Fill the jug kettle with at least 0,5 litres of water.
•
Before storing the appliance, allow it to cool to room temperature.
•
Never use the appliance through an external timer or remote control.
•

commercial use.

Before use for the first time
Clean the kettle by filling it with water and bringing to a boil – do this three
•
times,disposing of the water each time.
Tip: When boiling for the first time, you can use vinegar or special descaling agents.

Use
1. Make sure the spout is facing away from you.
2. Pull up the lid handle (3) to open the lid (2).
3. Fill the jug with the required quantity of water (0.5-1.7 litres). Never fill water above
the'max' limit - hot water could spatter out.
