A protective cover for the sun shade can
be purchased in a specialist shop if re-
quired.
1. Mount the T-stand (see figure A).
2. Situate the T-stand in the desired lo-
cation and place the 4 cement slabs
(see figure B).
3. Mount the rotary disc 1 on the T-stand
with 4 of the enclosed washers 2 and
the long screws 3 (see figure C).
4. Screw mount the pole base 4 on the
rotary disc 1 with another 4 of the
enclosed washers 2 and the short
screws 5 (see figure D).
5. Place the cap 6 over the pole base. Pay
attention to the recess!
6. Slip the shade pole 8 over the pole base
and fix it in place with the two knurled
screws 7 (see figure E).
The sun shade is now ready for use.
Opening the sun shade
Please note!
– Before opening the sun shade, en-
sure that it has a sufficiently secure
position, that is, that the proper base
is used.
1. Remove the strap and, if applicable,
the protective cover.
2. Open the sun shade gently by hand,
turn the crank 9 and open the sun
shade all the way (see figures F
and G).
Tilting the shade
• To adjust the tilt of the shade, depress
the locking mechanism 10 on the han-
dle and slide the handle up or down.
Let the handle lock into the desired
position (see figure H).
Rotating the shade
• To turn the sun shade, push the lock-
ing lever 11 with your foot. Then pivot
the sun shade to the desired position
(see figure I).
Pivoting the shade
1. Push the lever 12 down (see figure J).
2. Pivot the sun shade to the desired po-
sition (see figure K).
3. Push the lever 12 back up and release
it (see figure L).
When you let go of the shade roof, the
lever will automatically lock into place.
Closing the shade
Please note!
– If wind, rain or snow is expected, the
shade must be closed. Damages oc-
curring as a result of a failure to do so
are not covered by the warranty.
– When closing the sun shade, the cov-
er could get caught between the brac-
es. If this happens, please careful-
ly pull parts of the cover caught be-
tween the braces out.
1. If necessary, turn the sun shade back
into a level position (see figure M).
2. Depress the locking mechanism 10 in
the handle and slide the handle down
(see figure N).
3. Close the sun shade with the crank 9
(see figure F).
4. If the cover is caught between the
braces, carefully pull the cover out
from between the braces (see fig-
ure O).
5. Tie the sun shade up using the strap
and, if applicable, cover it with the
protective cover afterwards (see fig-
ures O and P).
