3. Choosing between temporary and
prolonged lock
The InTouch control can be locked in two ways, depending
on your needs:
• Use the temporary lock (see Chapter 3.1) for short
actions, such as quickly cleaning the glass surface.
This lock automatically deactivates after 15 seconds.
• Use the prolonged lock (see Chapter 3.2) when more
time is needed, for example, during a thorough cleaning
or to prevent unintended operation (such as by children).
This lock remains active until manually deactivated.
Both options help to temporarily disable the cooker hood.
3.1 Temporary lock of InTouch control during
cleaning
3.1.1 Activating the lock
Use this temporary lock for short actions, such as cleaning
the glass surface. During the lock, all InTouch buttons
are ignored, so the extractor hood does not respond.
After 15 seconds, the lock automatically deactivates.
• Operate the buttons
3 seconds to activate the lock.
• After hearing three beeps, the lock is engaged.
The InTouch control is now disabled for 15 seconds.
During this period, a warning signal (beep) sounds.
After 15 seconds, the lock is automatically lifted, and the
InTouch control is fully accessible again.

3.2 Prolonged lock of InTouch control
3.2.1 Activating the Lock
Use the prolonged lock when more time is needed,
for example, during a thorough cleaning or to prevent
unintended operation (such as by children). This lock
remains active until manually deactivated.
• Operate the buttons
3 seconds to activate the lock.
• After hearing three beeps, the lock is engaged.
While the lock is active, all buttons are disabled except
the one used to deactivate the lock.
If any other button is pressed, three beeps will sound.
3.2.2 Deactivating the Lock
To reactivate the InTouch control, the lock can be
deactivated as follows:
• Operate the buttons
