Use

• The extension cable used should be as short as
possible.
• Ensure the mains cable does not pose a tripping
hazard.
Use

Switching on / off (Fig. C)

Switching on:
• Move the On/Off switch 4 to position " " ,
to switch the garden pump on.
Switching off:
• Move the On/Off switch to position
" ", to switch the garden pump off.

Pumping water (Fig. D)

CAUTION!
Prevent the garden from running dry.
• Open the water filling cap 8 with a few
turns in counter-clockwise direction and
remove it.
• Fill the pump housing 5 completely with
water.
• Replace the water filling cap and fasten it
with a few turns in the clockwise direction.
To reduce the suction time, you can also
fill the suction line directly when
mounting the non-return valve.
• Open the delivery line to release air during
suction.
• Connect the mains plug to a suitable mains
socket (see chapter "Mains connection").
• Switch on the pump (see chapter "Switching
on / off").
• The garden pump pumps for about 30
seconds. If water comes out of the delivery
line, the garden pump is ready for use.

After completing the work:
• Switch off the pump (see chapter "Switching
on / off").
• Disconnect the garden pump from the power
supply.
• Allow the garden pump to cool down
completely before storage.
• Disconnect all the pipe and / or hose
connections.
Maintenance, cleaning,
storage and transport
WARNING!
Disconnect the mains plug before any
adjustment, maintenance or repair.

Maintenance

The garden pump requires very little
maintenance.
Check the garden pump regularly, at least once
a month, for wear and damage.
Repairs should only be carried out by qualified
technicians or by an authorised service centre.
Qualified technicians must have relevant
training and experience, be familiar with the
design and construction requirements of the
product and understand and follow the safety
regulations.
Proceed as follows to remove blockages:
• Remove the suction and delivery line (not
included in the supply) from the respective
port.
• Connect the outlet connector 9 (not
included in the supply) using a suitable hose
with a water tap.
• Open the water tap.
• Switch on the garden pump repeatedly for a
few seconds.
