Before Use

m) Do not use the cable for purposes
for which it is not intended, such as
carrying or hanging up the garden
pump, and do not pull the cable to
disconnect the device from the mains.
Keep the cable away from heat, oil,
sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged
or entangled cords increase the risk of
electric shock.
n) Check the cable and plug for damage
before using it each time. Damaged
cables and connectors have to be
replaced by an electrician to avoid
risks.
o) Avoid uncontrolled starting:
p) Disconnect the plug when the device is
not being used.
q) Make sure that the garden pump is
switched off before connecting the
mains plug.
r) Switch off the garden pump before
disconnecting the mains plug.
s) Disconnect the mains plug before
transporting the unit.
t) Disconnect the mains plug before
any maintenance and making
adjustments.
u) Only the maintenance activities and
fault rectification described in this
manual should be carried out.
v) Assemble the unit completely before
use. Do not operate the device if it is
partially working or damaged.

WARNING!
Do not use the product in potentially
explosive atmospheres. Use the product
only in ambient temperatures between
10 - 40 ° C.
Disconnect the product from the power
source before making any adjustments,
mounting or replacing accessories and
carry out maintenance.
At ambient temperatures below 0 ° C,
damage can be caused by frost and
freezing.
• Take the garden pump and accessories out of
the packaging.
• Check if the delivery is complete (see the
"Scope of delivery / parts list" section).
• Check the garden pump and accessories for
damages.
• Do not use the garden pump if it is damaged
or parts are missing. Contact the service
centre listed on the warranty card.

Setting up the garden pump

NOTE!
If the garden pump slips during operation,
it may fall down from the work surface and
cause injuries.
Mount the garden pump in a suitable place
using the mounting holes at the base of the
garden pump and suitable screws.
• Place the garden pump on a firm and level
surface. Select the installation location such
that the On / Off switch of the garden pump
can be easily accessed and is facing you.
• Fix the garden pump using the appropriate
mounting screws (bolts) and nuts, as well as
sufficiently large shims (mounting material
not included in the supply).
