Never hold the device under running

g) To prevent the risk of injury, damaged
mains cables may only be replaced by
the manufacturer, by customer service
or by a similarly qualified person.
h) The device should only be used in
proper condition. Get your garden
pump repaired only by qualified
technicians and only using original
spare parts.
i) The device should not be used in
potentially explosive areas.
j) Disconnect the mains plug from
the socket when the device is not
being used and during maintenance,
to avoid the device from starting
unintentionally.
k) Devices with faulty On / Off switch
should not be used.
l) Do not overload the device. Use it only
in the range specified in the technical
data of the operating manual.
m) Be careful. Watch what you are doing.

inattention while operating the device

Specific safety instructions for
operating your garden pump
a) Plug the device only into a socket with
earthing contact.
b) Never allow the pump to run dry.
c) Electrical cables have to be routed
such that they do not fall into the
medium being pumped.
d) The garden pump should not be
installed when people are present in
the medium to be pumped.
e) The garden pump is not suitable for
cleaning or maintenance of swimming
pools.
f) The temperature of the medium to be
pumped should not exceed +35°C.
g) The garden pump should not be
operated in rain or wet surroundings.
h) Never point the jet at the garden pump
or other live parts - Danger to life!
i) Do not leave the garden pump
unattended. Disconnect the device in
case of extended absence.
j) Check if the existing mains voltage
matches with the specification on
the rating plate of the device before
connecting the garden pump.
k) The garden pump should only be
operated within the voltage and power
limits specified on the type plate.
l) Never touch the mains plug with wet
hands.
