Safety Instructions
Important notes:
•
This appliance uses R290 (propane gas) as a refrigerant.
•
R290 is flammable, but heavier than air.
•
In the event of a leak, the gas collects on the floor.
•
R290 is odourless.
Dangers:
•
Open flames, cigarettes or sparks can ignite the gas.
•
The gas can accumulate in higher areas.
Safety instructions:
•
Operate the appliance in a room of at least 4 m².
•
Avoid flames, cigarettes and sparks near the appliance.
•
Set up the appliance in a well-ventilated room.
Before use:
•
Please read the safety and operating instructions carefully before use and keep them for
future reference.
•
The appliance must stand upright for at least 12 hours before it is used for the first time or
after it has been transported.
•
Check the mains cable, plug and the appliance for cracks and damage.
•
Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged.
•
If the appliance is damaged, do not repair it yourself, but contact the customer service
department of the retailer from whom the appliance was purchased.
•
Do not allow children to play with parts of the packaging.
During use:
•
Only use original accessories and spare parts.
•
Place the appliance on a stable, level and dry surface.
•
Clean the air filter regularly according to the instructions in the operating instructions.
•
Do not allow the cable, the plug and the electrical and electronic parts of the appliance to
come into contact with water or other liquids.
•
Do not cover the air inlets and outlets of the appliance and keep them free of obstacles.
•
Do not use the device in potentially explosive atmospheres.
•
Supervise children, persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities and pets
when the appliance is in operation.
•
Empty the water tank regularly when it is full.
After use:
•
Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the mains if you are not going to use it for a
long time.
•
Clean the appliance according to the instructions in the operating instructions.
•
Store the device in a dry, sun-protected and safe place.
