4.1 Electrical connection

m Danger to life due to electric shock!
Before any maintenance or installation work or before opening the terminal
compartment, the unit must be fully isolated from the power supply and secured
against unintended restart!
The electrical connections and electrical commissioning may only be carried out by quali-
fied electricians according to the information in the following wiring diagram.
The relevant national standards, safety regulations and instructions (e.g. DIN EN VDE
0100) as well as the technical connection conditions of the energy supply company must
be observed!
The connection cable is fed through the included cable gland and professionally connec-
ted. The optical smoke detector is then screwed into the ventilation duct base. The inlet
pipe with flow adapter is also used.
As a result, a functional test must be carried out using test gas (aerosol)!
