Auger clutch switch
Check whether the safety systems of the auger clutch switch function
properly. If there is any abnormality, consult an authorized Honda
dealer and have them check and service your snowblower
immediately.
This inspection must be made with the engine started and by moving
the snowblower and auger. Check that there is no person, pet and
obstacle around the snowblower before starting the inspection. Be
sure that the chuter is not pointed at any person, window glass, etc.
1. Park the snowblower on level ground. Be sure that the parking brake
lever is in the ''PARKING'' position and the shift lever is in the
''NEUTRAL'' position.
2. Start the engine and set the throttle control lever in the ''SLOW''
position.
3. Push the auger clutch switch, and make sure that the switch light
(green) will go ON for a several seconds and will go OFF, and then
auger does not turn.
4. Squeeze and hold the drive clutch lever, push the auger clutch
switch. Be sure that the switch light (green) and the auger clutch on
indicator (green) will go ON, and then auger starts to turn.
5. Release the drive clutch lever when the switch light (green) will go
OFF. Make sure that the auger clutch switch turns to the ''OFF''.
Stop the engine.
