E. "RACE USE ONLY" DISCLAIMER
Due to the specific operational and environmental conditions in
which "Race Use Only" products are used during competitions,
these products may be subjected to extreme conditions that
exceed the design and control limits established by ATHENA.
ATHENA shall bear no liability for the use of "Race Use Only"
products under extreme conditions during racing, and no product
liability shall apply in such cases.
Therefore, "Race Use Only" products are excluded from any
form of warranty.
"Race Use Only" products are designed and manufactured for
competitive and sporting use only. As such, they must not be used
on public roads. ATHENA shall bear no responsibility for the use of
"Race Use Only" products in violation of these limits.
Any alteration or tampering with "Race Use Only" products may
jeopardize their safety. ATHENA shall bear no liability for failure
to comply with ATHENA's instructions and/or for incorrect or
inadequate installation on vehicles and/or incorrect or insufficient
maintenance of such products. In such cases, no product liability
shall apply.
