TX repeaters tone
Press the PTT key and side key 2 at the same time to emit a repeating tone of 1750Hz. This function is useful for
communication between repeaters.
Quick frequency search
The radio will act as a receiver. Hold down the key
. "SEARCH SEEK ..." appears on the screen
If the transmitting radio emits and the receiving radio receives an effective frequency (with a strong and stable signal),
the received frequency will be displayed on the screen. If it is a CTCSS or DCS code, it will also be displayed on the screen.
If there is no CTCSS/DCS code, NONE will be displayed.
Press the MENU key to save the frequency and CTCSS/DCS code found on the channel.
Note: during the search, press the key
to switch between VHF and UHF.
Using the menu
Press the MENU key to access the menu.
Press the Up and Down keys to navigate through the menu.
Press the MENU key again to enter the submenu that interests you.
