Grounding of the appliance
1. This is a Class I electrical appliance that must be connected to a safety
ground.
2. This appliance has a power cord and electrical plug with ground wire
and pin.
3. The electrical plug must be plugged into a main socket installed with an
earth connection.
Maintenance
Cleaning
1. Before cleaning, always remember to switch off, unplug the appliance,
and let it cool down completely.
2. You can clean the parts of the appliance, including the filter funnel,
decanter, water tubes with mild detergent and by using a soft and damp
cloth.
3. Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners, or chlorinated cleaners on the
appliance.
4. Dry the appliance before connecting it to a power socket.
Descaling
When the appliance has been using for a certain period of time, water
scale will build up and accumulated on the heating element and the path of
the water flow. You should clean up the water scale regularly to ensure the
appliance can be operated at the optimum condition as well as to keep the
taste and flavor of the coffee.
Steps of descaling:
1. Open the top cover and pour descale material into the water reservoir
only.
