- After the accumulators are completely discharged the
rapid charging procedure will begin automatically
with the charging condition LED changing over to red.
The discharging operation, while under way,
may be ceased by pressing the discharging
key "DISCHARGE" and changing over to the
rapid charging mode becomes possible.
The accompanying high-efficiency NiMH
accumulators from Conrad Energy have no
memory effect. This means that you may
recharge the accumulators even if they are
not completely discharged yet. The high-
power capability of these cells makes them
ideally suited for use in digital cameras,
radio sets or the like.
Refreshing function
This function resets the "accumulation state" of the
accumulators. This is recommended if your accumula-
tors should no longer function properly.
- Set the selector switch to "REFRESH" after inserting
the accumulators into the charging set (see the item
"How to charge accumulators").
- The regeneration process starts, which is signalled by
the REFRESH LED being lit yellow.

our central company based at Hirschau
and the municipal disposal facilities
(waste collection yards) which are also
obliged to accept them as before.

How to operate

Voltage supply
Decide on the voltage supply you desire. You may select
between a plug-in power supply unit for 230 V AC
socket and a 12V adapter cable for cigarette lighters in
camping vans or the like:
1. Plug-in power supply unit: Plug the plug-in power
supply unit into a 230 V socket; the proper function is
signalled by a red LED. If the red LED should not go on
check the socket or the plug-in power supply unit for its
functionality (be aware of the 230 V alternating voltage
– there is a danger to your life).
2. 12V adapter cable: Plug the 12V adapter cable into a
cigarette lighter jack. The existence of a voltage on the
DC plug is signalled by a red LED on the adapter cable.
