3.1 AP webbing sling adapter 2-

1 Battery
The STIHL AK battery supplies power to the
tree care chainsaw.
2 LEDs
The LEDs indicate the state of charge of the
battery and any errors.
3 Button
The pushbutton activates the LEDs on the
battery. It activates and deactivates the Blue‐
tooth® interface (if available).
4 BLUETOOTH

LED (only for batteries with

The LED indicates the activation and deacti‐
vation of the Bluetooth® interface.
5 AP adapter
The AP adapter connects the battery to a
STIHL tree care chainsaw, with a battery
compartment for STIHL AP batteries.

6 Connecting cable
The connecting cable connects the AP web‐
bing sling adapter 2-in-1 to a STIHL tree care
chainsaw.
7 Webbing sling
The webbing sling secures the STIHL tree
care chainsaw to the climbing harness.
8 Protective sheath
The protective sheath protects the webbing
sling and the connecting cable from damage.
9 Handle
The handle is for guiding and carrying the AP
webbing sling adapter 2-in-1.
10 Overload ring
The overload ring is used for hanging the AP
webbing sling adapter 2-in-1 while working in
a tree.
11 Tension belt
The tension belt secures the battery in the AP
webbing sling adapter 2-in-1.
12 Battery pouch
The battery pouch accommodates the bat‐
tery.

3.2 Symbols
Meanings of symbols that may be on the battery:
1 LED lights up red. The battery is too
warm or too cold.
4 LEDs flash red. There is an error in
the battery.
The battery must be recharged with a
STIHL charger. The admissible chargers
are listed in these safety instructions.
The battery is equipped with a Bluetooth
radio interface and can be paired with the
STIHL connected app.
The information next to the symbol indi‐
cates the energy content of the battery
according to the cell manufacturer's specifi‐
cation. The energy content available in
operation is lower.
Do not dispose of the product with domes‐
tic waste.
