3. Insert the chosen attachment into the attachment slot
on the handle. To secure the attachment, turn it clock-
wise until you hear and feel the attachment click into
place.
Using attachments
The hair styler can be used in many ways. Because your hair is
subjected to very high temperatures when it is styled using the
hair styler, we have compiled a few tips for you to ensure that
you get the best possible results when using the product.
• When choosing a shampoo or other hair care products, check that
they will moisturise your hair.
• If necessary, use a product that will protect your hair against heat
before styling. Suitable products are available from your hairdresser
or from a health and beauty retailer.
• Do not use any other styling products before using the hair styler.
• It may be useful to divide your hair into sections and pin up the upper
sections of hair.
• Only comb out your hair carefully after it has cooled down.
We recommend using a wide-tooth comb or simply running your
fingers through your hair to loosen it up.
• After styling your hair, use suitable styling products as required to set
the hairstyle.

Use
DANGER – risk of fatal electric shock
Only use the flat brush attachment and curling irons on dry or damp hair.
If your hair is wet, you can only use the hairdryer/adapter attachment, the
diffuser and the precision nozzle.
NOTICE – material damage
When styling your hair, only hold the appliance by the handle and not by
the air grille. The air intake openings could be blocked or the air grille
could come loose.
• Comb your hair well before styling to prevent it from getting caught in
the flat brush attachment and to achieve the best possible result when
using the curling iron attachments.
• Apply a heat protection spray before using the flat brush and curling
iron attachments to protect your hair.
• Only separate thin strands of hair and do not pull the flat brush
attachment forcefully through the hair. It must be easy to pull it
through your hair.
